North Central Illinois Forming Chapter of Women On Wheels®

Welcome!

We are a forming chapter of  of Women On Wheels® looking for new members in DeKalb, Sycamore, Rochelle, Rockford, Mendota, Dixon, Oregon, Ashton, Lindenwood, Monroe Center, Kings and the surrounding areas in North Central Illinois!

Women On Wheels® was founded in California by an avid woman motorcyclist in 1982. Its purpose was, and still is, to unite all women motorcycle enthusiasts, whether they ride their own machine, are motorcycle passengers or enthusiasts, or future motorcyclists. WOW members are located throughout the United States, Canada, and several other countries. WOW has over 3500 members and is growing strong!

WOW has riders in their teens, in their eighties, and every age in between! WOW's focus is on the members and the lifestyle of motorcycling, rather than on the machine. WOW members enjoy every make and model of motorcycle imaginable -- it's not what we ride that's important, but rather the fact that we enjoy riding to begin with!

We're for beginners and veterans; we're for people from all walks of life; we're for motorcycle commuters, racers, tourers, etc.

Women On Wheels® is a family-oriented organization and encourages family members to become involved through our support membership for spouses/significant others and our child membership for future riders.

This Chapter is forming to unite women riders in DeKalb, Illinois and the surrounding area..

In order for our group to formally register as a Women on Wheels® official chapter we need 7 full members and 3 support members or 10 full members.  Please contact the Chapter Coordinator Gigi Beaird  Member #16833 for further details.

Membership in Women On Wheels® is a great value for an investment of only $30 (US) per year. Sign up for more than 1 year at a time and get a reduced rate. Support membership is $15 per year - an excellent choice when you have someone else in the household belonging to WOW but you only want to get one copy of the magazine. Child membership is $10 per year. VISA and Mastercard are accepted.
